Along with the Georgia Tech faculty tapped and reappointed as Regents’ Professors and Researchers at the Aug. 9 University System of Georgia Board of Regents meeting were five Georgia Tech professors named to the new distinction of Regents’ Entrepreneur.
Georgia Tech football’s annual Fan Day event will be held Saturday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the John and Mary Brock Indoor Football Facility. First Saturday on The Flats will feature more than a dozen activity stations, autograph opportunities, Buzz, and more.
The award-winning Georgia Smart Communities Challenge supports teams of applied researchers, municipalities, and nonprofit groups to work together over the course of the year on locally driven priorities. This year’s projects are located in Atlanta, Athens-Clarke County, Henry County, and Warner Robins.
