As the mercury climbed across Atlanta this summer, student research heated up, thanks to special summer programs for undergraduates from around the globe that help them get a head start on research experience for STEM careers in academia, industry, and beyond.
Bringing Seismic Imaging to Climate Change Conversations
A summer dominated by high gas prices and record-setting temperatures around the globe has intensified discussions on climate change. At the same time, a Georgia Tech research group spent this summer preparing studies that could help reduce greenhouse gas levels through machine learning and high-performance computing methods.
