In fiscal year 2021, Georgia Tech’s research enterprise totaled a record $1.2 billion, and we are on track to break that record in fiscal year 2022. To create a stronger business and service model to support initiatives, investigators, and continued growth, the Institute is restructuring and scaling its research support functions.
Scheller Pride President Plans for New Year
Courtney Felinski was already a proud Yellow Jacket when she enrolled in the MBA program in 2021. She played volleyball as an undergraduate and earned her bachelor's degree in 2015. During Pride Month, she shares her plans and ideas for growth as the new president of the student group Scheller Pride.
Midtown High School Students Get a Taste of Biomechanics
How do you get a group of high school students with minimal exposure to biomechanics to start thinking about a career in research? You put them in a room with Georgia Tech graduate students, a pile of simple raw materials, and tell them they have to build a prosthetic lower limb for a teammate — then get them to race each other.
