Admitted students hail from 102 nations, all 50 states (plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), and 112 Georgia counties. More than 50,000 students applied to become part of the 2022 first-year class at Georgia Tech.
Tech Graduate Programs Ranked Among Best in Nation
Georgia Tech’s graduate programs were once again among the highest ranked in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 Best Graduate School Rankings. On the latest list, Georgia Tech continues to be ranked in the top 10 for the College of Engineering and each of its specialties.

Georgia Tech Graduates Dance Alongside Beyoncé at Oscars
Raianna Brown and Makeda Cyrus danced alongside Beyoncé in a performance that opened the Oscars. Brown was lined up right next to the pop music icon in the opening sequence.
