The last few years have brought intense discussions about politics and race on top of a global pandemic. These challenges often affect how we conduct ourselves at work, at school, and in social settings. This spring, two Tech professors have been addressing the challenges through innovative teaching.
Female Founders Program Expands Support
Female Founders, which began in Fall 2020, is open to startup teams that are founded or co-founded by women. Applications for the next cohort are now open. And, through a new gift from a Tech alumna, each team will receive $5,000 to support their work.
Alumna Creates ‘New Kind of Public Space’ in India
Five years ago, Jahnavi Phalkey had a tenured position at King’s College London, a published book, and a steadily advancing academic career. Then, she gave it all up to open a science gallery, accepting an appointment as the founding director of Science Gallery Bengaluru.
