Urban analytics is an emerging field that incorporates smart cities, urban informatics, and urban science. The new interdisciplinary degree will be a collaboration among the School of City and Regional Planning, the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, the School of Computational Science and Engineering, and the School of Interactive Computing.
Erdogmus Appointed Chair of School of Building Construction
Ece Erdogmus, a highly respected architectural engineering scholar, will take on the role July 1. She is a leading researcher on structural analysis of masonry construction and in applying nondestructive testing techniques to ancient structures.
