As Heat Risk Grows, Researchers Hunt Hotspots
On one of the hottest days this month, students from Georgia Tech and Spelman College tracked the temperature every few seconds from Atlanta's streets. The effort is part of UrbanHeatATL, a project that is mapping temperature variations across the city.
