It can seem difficult — if not overwhelming — to try and make sense of what is happening. Students have said that being able to discuss important, sometimes difficult-to-understand topics with their peers and professors has helped them gain a better grasp on current events.
The Institute for Leadership and Social Impact hosts the Ideas to Serve Showcase next week, where student groups will share their work addressing maternal health deserts, food insecurity, and preserving and promoting Atlanta's lesser-known civil rights landmarks.
Georgia Tech’s Commencement events would not be possible without the involvement and support of faculty and staff volunteers. This semester, graduates will be celebrated at four ceremonies on May 6 and 7. Volunteers are needed at all events and in a variety of roles.
All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in weekly testing for Covid-19. Testing sites provide fast and free asymptomatic testing.
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older.
