After two rounds of preliminary competition, the teams aiming to bring home the 2022 Georgia Tech InVenture Prize title have been chosen. The finalists will compete for $35,000 in prizes tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Ferst Center for the Arts in a rapid-fire televised pitch competition that is broadcast live on Georgia Public Broadcasting.
Spring break is quickly approaching. While many students will head home or go on vacation, some will stay on campus. Luckily, there is always something fun to do in Atlanta.
For Georgia Tech’s Ilya Kaminsky, the war in Ukraine hits close to home. The poet from Odessa, Ukraine, authored an op-ed for The New York Times in which he discusses war, poetry, and the fate of Ukraine’s writers and translators — many of whom he has been trying to help escape the country amid the Russian invasion.
All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in weekly testing for Covid-19. Testing sites provide fast and free asymptomatic testing.
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older.
