Each semester, a group of students in one School of Public Policy class are assigned a unique final exam. Instead of sitting for a test, they sit down with a government official and advocate for an issue that’s important to them, or they volunteer with a nonprofit working for the same cause.

As a Division I hurdler, Melanie Akwule was all about speed. Now, she’s helping other Black entrepreneurs accelerate their pace by providing an ecosystem of products and services that build, grow, and scale their businesses.
2022 Cohort of Aspiring Leaders Announced
The latest cohort of the ASPIRE Program consists of 41 employees representing 25 different departments across campus with a variety of job roles, ranging from horticulturist to grants administrator and academic advisor.

Get Tested
All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in weekly testing for Covid-19. Testing sites provide fast and free asymptomatic testing.
Get Vaccinated
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older. Campus vaccine clinics take place on Tuesdays.
