Tech Graduate Receives Coveted Gates Cambridge Scholarship
Georgia Tech graduate Samuel “Sammy” Weiss-Cowie has received a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to support his upcoming graduate study at Cambridge University. Weiss-Cowie will pursue a Ph.D. at the Medical Research Council Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit.
New Research Frames Poverty and Race in America
Hispanics account for 17% of the U.S. population but experience nearly a third of its poverty, according to a new study from the Georgia Tech School of Economics. The study evaluates deprivation across racial and ethnic groups using a variety of indicators, such as access to health insurance, education, employment opportunities, and more.

Get Vaccinated
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older. Campus vaccine clinics take place on Tuesdays.
