Georgia Tech students are accustomed to performing under pressure. For the three students selected as reflection speakers for their fellow graduates, the task is one final challenge as well as a great honor.
It Takes Two: Joshua Garrett
Since he was first introduced to Georgia Tech through a distance learning math program as a high school senior, the Cumming, Georgia, native has done it all — from decorating his RAT cap and running in the Freshman Cake Race to leaving change for Sideways before exams and playing trumpet in the Yellow Jacket Marching Band. This weekend, he earns a second Tech degree.
Faculty, Staff Campus Culture Survey Closes Soon
As a continuation of Georgia Tech’s focus on Living Our Values Every Day (L.O.V.E. GT), the Institute is soliciting feedback on how well we are demonstrating the behaviors and practices set forth by our stated values.
Test Before the Break
Students are encouraged to participate in campus Covid-19 testing this week before departing for winter break. Employees are also encouraged to test before their break. Test sites are open regular operating hours this week. All sites will close for winter break on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at noon.
Get Vaccinated
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older. Campus vaccine clinics will resume in January.
