Thaleia Doudali spent her Ph.D. working at the intersection of systems and machine learning in the School of Computer Science. Now she’s bringing this expertise to Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies in Software Development Technologies as a tenure-track assistant professor.

Barrett H. Carson has spent a quarter of a century at the helm of Georgia Tech’s Office of Development. He served three presidents; raised three children — two of whom graduated from the Institute — and has helped raise billions of dollars for Georgia Tech.

Test Before the Break
Students are encouraged to participate in campus Covid-19 testing this week before departing for winter break. Employees are also encouraged to test before their break. Fast and free saliva-based asymptomatic testing is available to all students, faculty, and staff. Test sites are open regular operating hours this week.
