Georgia Tech has named David Bridges vice president of the Enterprise Innovation Institute, effective Dec. 1. The Enterprise Innovation Institute is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive university-based economic development organization.
Knowing what’s in the air is important because scientists now understand the role that airborne virus particles play in transmitting the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19. Researchers at the Georgia Tech Research Institute have taken important steps toward developing a system that would continuously monitor building air for the virus.
