Since Georgia Tech launched its asymptomatic surveillance testing program last year, more than 370,000 Covid-19 tests have been administered to the Tech community. Testing remains critical, even for those who are vaccinated, because it is the only way to detect an infection before it puts others at risk.
After a recent move aimed at centralizing workforce development and professional learning at Georgia Tech, a new online hub is now available to serve the development needs of the campus community.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration is awarding more than $6.7 million in grants to 37 nonprofits and universities nationwide. Georgia Tech’s award will provide 1-hour and 6.5-hour Covid-19 training sessions to 475 employers and workers in the long-term healthcare and mortuary industries.
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older. Vaccines are now being administered at Stamps Health Services today and every Tuesday.
Fast and free saliva-based asymptomatic testing is available to all students, faculty, and staff. Keep testing weekly, even if you have been vaccinated, to help make Georgia Tech as safe and healthy as possible.
