More than 200 portable air purifiers will be installed in centrally and departmentally scheduled classrooms ahead of the first day of classes Monday. The air purifiers or “scrubbers” improve air quality by decreasing particle number and particle volume concentrations within a single room.
A global research team led by Georgia Tech's Shannon Yee has been developing a portfolio of reinvented toilets that bring together the best concepts from the last decade of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-led Reinvent the Toilet Challenge.
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older. Vaccines are being administered at McCamish Pavilion every day this week and next week.
Free Covid-19 surveillance testing is available to all students, faculty, and staff. Sites are located around campus, and testers get a cookie and sticker. Test weekly to help make Georgia Tech as safe and healthy as possible.
