Magnus Egerstedt thought his robot would survive a few months. That was the goal when he and his team of engineering students installed their 3-foot SlothBot in the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s tree canopy in May of last year. Now, 13 months after it went up, SlothBot has come down.
One student will be selected by a panel of faculty, administrators, and students to share an inspirational message for this year's incoming class. Rising second-year students are invited to apply by Friday, July 23.
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older. Vaccine clinics are now taking place every Tuesday on campus.
Testing continues to be available during the summer. If you're on campus and have not been vaccinated, keep testing weekly to help make campus as safe and healthy as possible.
