The 1.4-megawatt microgrid is located at Spring and Fifth Streets in Tech Square. The facility will not only provide clean power to Midtown, but it will also serve as a living laboratory.
Tech to Enter New Fiscal Year on Positive Note
With the new fiscal year approaching, Georgia Tech is in a better position because of higher than expected enrollment numbers, which are expected to continue into the next academic year.
Stenport Named Dean at RIT
Anna Westerstahl Stenport, professor of global studies and chair of the School of Modern Languages, was named professor of communications and dean of the Rochester Institute of Technology College of Liberal Arts. She begins in her new role Sept. 1.
Vaccines Available
Covid-19 vaccines are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older. Vaccine clinics are now taking place every Tuesday on campus.
