Festival of Lights
Students Isaac Wittenstein and Anat Revai light candles at a grand menorah lighting at the Kessler Campanile on Tuesday. President G.P. "Bud" Peterson lit the first candle at the event, which was organized by Tech's Chabad, Hillel, and Alpha Epsilon Pi.
'An Infinite Amount of Light'
Each person received an unlit candle and a flame was passed on from one person to the next until all the candles were lit. "No matter how much light and goodness you pass around, your own light doesn't diminish in the slightest," said Rabbi Shlomo Sharfstein of Tech's Chabad. "Each of us contains an infinite amount of light to share." Hanukkah runs through Dec. 14. See more photos from the event at the Campanile.
