Running the Ball
Each year, the Georgia Tech and University of Georgia chapters of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity put aside their differences to fundraise for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta through a rivalry-fueled relay race. The brothers run the game ball from one campus to the other for the annual meeting of the two football teams. On Friday, Georgia's members will run the ball from Athens to Loganville, where Tech students will pick up the relay for the last 33 miles. The group hopes to raise $15,000.
