Dressing the Part
Students Hope Lipham (left) and Megan Fechter (right) visit the town of Tard outside Budapest as part of their summer internship with Matyo Designs, an organization that works to keep Hungarian history alive by putting its traditional symbols and embroidery on modern clothing. The students (along with their mentor, center) dressed in traditional Hungarian garb and practiced embroidery to learn more about the origin of the organization for their work, which is part of the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship’s Leadership for Social Good Study Abroad Program.
