Georgia Tech is one of the country’s top engineering schools for many reasons, one of which is its ability to address global issues and produce innovations through student showcases.
Two of Tech’s major academic showcases take place this week. The second annual Tech4Good Poster Showcase will be today at 4 p.m. in the Clough Commons, showcasing service learning projects that help local nonprofits and communities. The fall Capstone Design Expo takes place tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in McCamish Pavilion, where students will compete for cash prizes. Both events help students gain real-world experience, promote creativity in designing products for market.
