'Run for the Kids' Gets Game Ball to Athens

While “clean, old-fashioned hate” is the theme of the Georgia Tech vs. University of Georgia football rivalry, students from both universities will put aside their differences Friday for charity. Members from the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity chapters at Tech and Georgia partner each year for a relay race between the two campuses that raises money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The race is key to Saturday’s game, as they’ll be carrying the game football along the way.
