Using biological experiments, robot models, and a geometric theory of locomotion from the 1980s, Georgia Tech researchers investigated how and why intermediate lizard species, with their elongated bodies and short limbs, might use their bodies to move. Their research has applications for advanced robotics designs.
Machine Monitoring App, Stethoscope Patch Win IoT Challenge
Two teams of computing and engineering students tied for first place in the second annual Student IoT Innovation Capacity Building Challenge. The Center for the Development and Application of Internet of Things Technologies awarded each team $6,000 in scholarships to divide among participants.
