Conditions permitting, a final decision is expected before the end of the calendar year, with the goal of having the next provost by January 2021.
Student Center Celebrates 50 Years
Although the Student Center was empty of people on its 50th anniversary, the community still gathered virtually to say goodbye to the cherished space.
Triple Major Wins Top Student Honor
Daniel Gurevich earned bachelor’s degrees in industrial engineering, physics, and mathematics in just four years. He was also honored with the Love Family Foundation Scholarship, a $10,000 award and the highest honor Georgia Tech gives a graduating student.

Monitoring Coronavirus: A Note About Visiting Campus
Spring weather has been in full bloom over the last week. Teamed with the expiration of Governor Kemp’s Shelter in Place Order for most Georgians on April 30, many have been drawn to public outdoor spaces on campus. CDC guidelines require that you stay at least 6 feet from other people and do not gather in groups larger than 10 people. It is also recommended that you wear a cloth mask during interactions.
